🐾 ANIMAL ATTENDANT (Full Time)
📍 Alice Springs
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Animal Attendant to join our small team on a permanent full time basis, working Tuesday to Saturday.
This role suits someone who genuinely cares about animal welfare, takes pride in their work, and can be trusted to work independently.
⚠️ Please note: Applicants must currently live in Alice Springs and intend to remain in the area long-term. This position is not suitable for short-term or temporary residents.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the daily care of our boarding animals, including dogs of all breeds and sizes, cats, and occasionally other pets.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene is a major part of the role, so it’s important that you are comfortable with hands-on, physical work and routine cleaning tasks.
Work Days
Tuesday – Saturday
🐾 The Right Person Will Be:
- Confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and follow routines carefully
- Comfortable with hands-on work and daily cleaning tasks
- Observant and attentive to animal health and wellbeing
- Free from pet allergies
- Able to work in Alice Springs conditions, including hot summers and cool winters
- A current permanent resident of Alice Springs

- Previous animal care, kennel, farm, or vet clinic experience
- Someone who takes responsibility and shows initiative
